Opening weekend of the Play
We were excited to have lots of visitors this weekend to come see the play. Saturday after the show we celebrated Uncle Bobby's birthday. Sunday Grandpa Goellner came to see the show. All of the shows went great. Unfortunately, Meg was sick all weekend. It started with a fever Wednesday and by Sunday she had a bad ear infection in her right ear and the start of one in her left. But the show must go on and she was quite the trooper; still performing at all of the shows and resting when she wasn't on stage. We're hoping she can go to school Tuesday.

The Princess That Wouldn't Smile
Friday is opening night for the show. Rehearsals are going well, its shaping up to be a cute show. We've got some pictures here, but unfortunately none of Meg yet. We tend to be in all of the numbers that Meg is in, which makes it hard to take pictures. We'll post more after this weekend's shows.

Meg and Zach both were armed with cameras so stay tuned we will try and add some more pictures and video later this week!

Learning to Ice Skate
Zach is doing a great job learning to skate. He's still doesn't like going to hockey, but he's looking better. Now Meg would like to take figure skating. What have I started? Enjoy the video to the left and then checkout the pictures!
Sorry about the lack of posts, we've been pretty busy lately.
Maybe Tuesday we can take some pictures of play practice.

Meeting the Huskies
Saturday we went to see the huskies at the Morton Arboretum. They were setting up for dog sled races and showing dogs that were up for adoption.
Sadly, our membership to the Arboretum has ended. We really enjoyed it so we may get another in the spring.
And no, we did not get a dog.

Winter Hike at Waterfall Glen
We had a nice weekend. Saturday Zach's class had another birthday party. Sunday we took a trip to Barnes and Noble so the kids could pick out a book. Monday we hiked the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve. The waterfall was almost completely frozen, but there were a few spots where you could see the water still running. The creek was frozen over so we could walk out over the waterfall. It was a neat experience. We look forward to going back once everything starts to thaw.

More Snow!!!
It seems like the snow just doesn't end here. These pictures are from last weekend. Meg and Dad built the beginnings of a snow fort. That afternoon we braved the weather to head down to Orland Park for a birthday party at Pump it Up. Sunday Zach had hockey again, this time it went much better.
