On Sunday Chris and the kids played there first game of Frisbee golf. It was a heck of a lot of fun! Both Meg and Zach's throws steadily improved.
We played at Mayfair Park in Westchester. The course was designed and built as part of an Eagle scout project. The holes were mostly Par 3s so it was a good starter course for Meg and Zach.

It rained all day on Saturday so we took the kids to Monkey Joe's to run them around and use up some of their energy. They had a great time on all of the inflatables. When we got back to Grandma's we were joined by Mary Ann, Kendra, her Mom, and Josh. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed talking with everyone. Saturday night we caught the Purdue fireworks from the top of a parking garage. The rain stopped just in time for the show.Sunday we took Meg and Zach down to Grandma and Grandpa McLeans where they will be staying this week while they go to Conner Prairie Summer Camp. We're looking forward to hearing about all of their fun.

We had a crazy weekend.-Friday I worked the St. Cletus Golf Outing and then Chris joined for dinner and drinks.
-Saturday morning Grandma Chris and Uncle Bobby arrived. After lunch we went to the pool.
-Saturday afternoon we went to a Cubs/Sox Party.
-Saturday night we went to my boss' daughters wedding reception at the Beverly Country Club
-Sunday after Mass and breakfast we said goodbye to Grandma Chris and Uncle Bobby and then we relaxed at the pool.

Sunday morning the kids woke up bright and early to give Chris the gifts they had made for him. We had breakfast at Blueberry Hill and then did a Geocache at a park in Hinsdale. Zach finally got a hair cut and then we went swimming. After swimming we stopped by Geppetto's Toy Box in Oak Park so Zach could use some of his birthday money to pick out a present. He chose a spy gear watch. For dinner we picked up a Lou Malnati's Pizza and watched Return on the Jedi.

Saturday morning we took the neighbors to the Zoo. We hadn't seen the new Dinosaurs Alive exhibit yet and it was the perfect day to check it out. The dinosaurs were huge. They all moved and roared as you walked by. The kids loved that they could control some of the dinosaurs. We toured about half of the Zoo and then did lunch at Culvers.

Zach loved seeing Blue Man group on Sunday. He had been asking to go for 2 years, but you have to be 5 years old. So that's what Zach got for his 5th birthday. Unfortunately, he refused to stand next to one of them for a picture after the show. Pictured here is Meg with our friends Johnny and Charlie.
