We had a wonderful time in Michigan with Grandma Chris. We visited Glen Arbor, the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Glen Haven, Frankfort, and Pointe Betsie. Unfortunately, it was a little cold for swimming, but still beautiful.
This weekend Meg had her first tournament. She volunteered to be goalie twice and did a great job making a ton of saves in her first game, which they won. They lost their second game, but not by much. Sunday morning we faced a really good team and the girls held their own. Meg was on goal again, and they scored 2 goals on her. Her team lost 1-3, but that was much better than the previous opponents who had lost to that team 0-5 and 0-7. We're looking forward to a soccer filled Fall.

Today we decided to head downtown to see the planes practicing for the Chicago Air and Water Show. We visited the Federal Reserve Money Museum, Daley Plaza, Mag Mile, Fountains, Millenium Park and enjoyed the Grant Park Symphony and Chorus performing Verdi's Requiem.

Wednesday we had a great time visiting friends in Michiana Shores. Who knew Indiana could be so beautiful?
This morning we headed north to enjoy the Gardens. We had a beautiful walk and found some areas we hadn't explored before. We had planned to hit the pool in the afternoon, but rain spoiled our plans... maybe tomorrow.
The kids had a great time this week at soccer camp, despite the heat. They learned alot from some great coaches.
We had a great time on vacation, with lots of time in the lake
