Sunday afternoon Meg had her first volleyball game. Its a whole other set of rules when the kids are this young, so it was a little confusing for Mom and Dad, but the team looked strong. All of the girls on her team are in her class and they did great together. Meg has a very strong serve. 
Saturday after soccer we met up with friends from Purdue, Niki and Brad. We got to meet their daughter Avery for the first time and see Devin again. Devin really warmed up to Meg and Zach by the end. So much so, that we did dinner together so he could have more time playing with the kids. It was a fun, relaxing Saturday afternoon.
Sunday was St. Cletus School's Homecoming. The rain held off so the kids could decorate cars and ride in the parade. Our Varsity team defeated St. Isaac Jogues from Hinsdale, but the JV lost.
The kids had their own cheering section Saturday at soccer. Grandma Chris came up to visit and Gene and Dale, our neighbors, also braved the rain to watch the kids show off their soccer skills. Zach's team tied while Meg's team won their game.
Saturday we enjoyed checking out Geneva, IL before the Kane County Cougars game. The game ended with fireworks and then they let the kids run the bases.
