Sledding

We got a lot of snow last week so Sunday seemed like the perfect day to take the kids sledding. After sledding we kept warm at home playing games and doing our usually Sunday reading night. It was a nice, relaxing Sunday... just what we needed.

Christmas Day

The kids did a great job waiting until 8am to open their presents. Mom, Dad, and Uncle Bobby were especially appreciative. Josh came over to join in the fun of watching the kids open their presents. They ripped through the gifts in no time and were ready to start playing with all of their new toys. The Zhu Zhu pets from Grandma Chris were a big hit. Kendra and Harriet joined us for Christmas dinner. After dinner we visited our friends Christa and Bill to wish them a Merry Christmas.

It was wonderful seeing everyone. We're have a crazy couple of months ahead of us, but we hope to see everyone soon!

Christmas Eve w/ McLeans

Christmas Eve we drove to Indy to celebrate with the McLeans. The kids had a great time with their cousins, and of course they loved all of their presents.

Congratulations Bobby!

Elizabeth's brother Bobby graduated from Purdue this afternoon. Relatives and friends from St. Louis, Indianapolis and Lafayette joined us at the open house after graduation. Way to go Bobby, we know you're ready for the warm Florida ready after this snowy weekend.

Zach's Kindergarten Mass

The Kindergarten and 8th graders led Mass this morning and performed a few songs for the Christmas show. It was adorable.

Bending Towards the Light

We were lucky enough to get to sing in the Bending Towards the Light Jazz Nativity at St. Luke's Lutheran downtown. It was a beautiful concert and we loved that Grandma and Grandpa McLean, the Buskers, and the Mitchells all came to see the show. After the show we had dinner at Wishbone, which was a treat.

Christmas Program

Last night was the St. Cletus Christmas Program. All of the kids did a great job and looked adorable.

Silver Bells

This weekend we accepted that Christmas was coming, and soon...

Friday night the kids saw Santa at the St. Cletus Christmas Party.

Saturday, after swimming and birthday parties, we watched the Tree Lighting in downtown La Grange with friends.

Sunday morning after celebrating St. Nick's Day we got up bright and early to buy our tree and started decorating the house. The outside decorations look great under the light snowfall we had last night.

Turkey Surprise

It was just dad and the kids for dinner tonight so we put on our aprons and made some magic with the last of the our Thanksgiving leftovers.

Meg and Zach were so happy with the results they decided to make a movie!
