St Cletus Homecoming

Here are some of our little Cardinals on their way to the game. We had a great time in the parade and at the game Sunday. We'll post more pictures soon.

Zach's week to shine

Zach's soccer skills were back this week. He scored a goal was great on defense.

Meg's team didn't score any goals this week, which was sad, but Meg still looked good. She's fast and aggressive and trying to use some fancy footwork in the games.

Sunday we had AYSO pictures, always a good time. We enjoyed the St. Cletus Football game in between photo shoots.

Day in Chi-Town

School was closed today so Chris and the kids spent the day downtown. They had a pretty full day...

Kids at the Botanical Gardens

Sunday after Mass we met the Mooneys at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. It was great seeing them again and the gardens were beautiful as always.

That afternoon Chris did some golfing while the rest of us went grocery shopping, got Zach a haircut, and checked out the West End Art Fair in LaGrange.

Unfortunately, the Bears couldn't pull out a win to top off a great Sunday... maybe next week.

Meg Scores!

It may be blurry, but its Meg in the air kicking her first of three goals on Saturday! Meg had a great game, she was all over the field stealing the ball and putting it in the goal.

Zach was off to a slow start this year, he was definitely bummed that Meg had a better game than he did. Watch out for him next week though, I think he'll be back and better than ever.

Night at the Circus

Last night we took the kids to the Circus that came to school. Zach's favorite part was the circus. Meg loved the trapeze artists.

Apple Pickin' on Labor Day

We heard teh Honey Crisp apples were in season so on Monday we drove to La Port, IN do some apple picking with friends. It was a long drive, but we've been enjoying great apples ever since.

Meg learns to ride her bike

Exciting news on Sunday... Meg can ride her bike without training wheels!!!

After brunch at the Trails we spent some time teaching Meg to ride her bike and she did great. Meanwhile, Zach worked on his passing.

The Girls before the Purdue Game

Saturday we took the kids to the Purdue Toledo Football Game. Before the game the swimming and diving teams were running a kids event. We got to spend some time with cousin Allison and see her again as they took the field at half time. The kids had fun at the game and so did we. That night we had a relaxing dinner at Mom's house, introduced Ms. Frisbie to Frisbee Golf, and had cake for Mom's birthday.

Sunday we went to one of the St. Cletus football games. Zach refused to be in the picture so this is Meg and some of her friends watching the game.
