Visitors from Indy

One lat picture before the grandparents hit the roadWe are happy to say that Jack and the Beanstalk closed this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa McLean came up to see the show. We had a great time at the show and enjoyed teaching them how to play Wii Bowling. All of the kids were sad that the show ended. We will be happy to get our evenings back. Next weekend will be a fun one, filled with some much needed R&R.

Taking the Stage

IMG_0703This weekend "Jack and the Beanstalk" opened. Our family is well represented in the play with Meg being a cute little sheep and Elizabeth playing a convincing towns person #3. Josh was in town for the auto show and a SCUBA convention so he checked out the show on Friday. For the Saturday show the cheering section included Grandma Chris, Uncle Bobby, and Kendra along with Grandpa Goellner, Gene & Dale, and of course Chris and Zach. Lastly, For the Sunday performance Meg's school friends all came bearing lots of beautiful flowers and made Meg feel very special. After the show everyone then came over to our house for pizza and smoothies. The adults rocked into the night with Guitar Hero challenges.

A busy and exhausting weekend. We are hanging around the house this President's day trying to recover.

Visiting Anna Marie

Visiting Anna MarieCongratulations! Our good friends Christa and Bill had a baby girl, Anna Marie. She was 5 weeks early, but Mom and baby are doing great. We got to see Anna Marie a few days after she got home. She slept most of the time we were there. She is adorable. After the visit we took the kids to see the Hannah Montana movie. They loved that it was in 3-D.
